Sokol City

A business center with an underground parking and shops
  • Area: 132 500 square meters
  • Location: St.Petersburg

The peculiarity of this project is the complex geometry of the 99-meter tall towers with the cantilevered upper part of the building to 30 meters off the first floor, all designed by the architects of Vitruvius & Sons Architectural Studio and supervised by Sergey Padalko.

As requested by the Client, geotechnical analysis was conducted to study the feasibility of constructing two top-down and three bottom-up underground floors. The volume of work also included wind-tunnel testing, contracted out to London's BMT Instrumentation & Laboratories. The structural design concept for the building frame of the two towers on a common stylobate.

Setun Hills
A business park intended to house offices and shopping areas, cultural and entertainment facilities, as well as a hotel.

  • Work performed: assisting the complex implementation of BRT's architectural concept; structural analysis, design of facade systems and internal engineering networks of the buildings; project support through to the construction permit .

Developed by Hamburg's BRT Architekten Bothe Richter Teherani, Setun Hills Business Center concept envisages construction of five buildings. The main facade of the multifunctional office building with a hotel is facing Minskaya street. The other three round-shaped buildings are to be placed slightly off the road, and host administrative and office venues. The building in the backdrop of the development plot is to incorporate premium apartments, an apart-hotel, a restaurant and a conference hub.

Trinity Place
Class A office building with an underground parking

  • Area: 36 800 square meters

The concept for Trinity Place class A business hub was developed by the US-based KPF architectural studio. To assist the project, a program of geological surveys was drafted, top-efficiency solutions for foundations and the underground part of the building were outlined, and structural design and engineering solutions were developed.

An office building with an underground floor

This pearl-shaped office building has become the first completed project within the large-scale investment development of the Baltic Pearl residential neighborhood to accommodate 35 000 people in the area of 205 hectares.

A five-star hotel complex with villas and private residencies, located in the territory of the former Chernomoretc resort on the Black Sea

  • Area: 105 000 square meters

  • Work performed: concept development in collaboration with WATG, including infrastructural design; drafting and approving project documents in the part of structural design and engineering solutions

The project is intended to develop a 14-hectare plot with the five-star Chernomorets Park & Spa Hotel of 800 suites, an apart-hotel, villas and private residences.

An office building in the center of Moscow on Sadovnicheskaya embankment, with a two-level underground parking.

  • Area: 16 000 square meters
  • Location: Moscow
  • Work performed: concept development; project documentation .

To ensure top-efficiency planning solutions, the project was designed to utilize varied column spacing over the above – and underground (parking) parts of the building. To overcome the challenge, a transfer slab structure was implemented to distribute the load of the above-ground part of the building onto the structures of its basement.

A multifunctional complex in the city center, including office venues, a hotel, residential and shopping facilities, as well as an underground parking.

Due to the complexity of the landscape, support walls had to be developed and pit excavation technologies deployed.
To implement the architectural vision of the hotel, the structural design for the 13-meter cantilever part of the building was developed.

The elite residential block Alexandria in the historical center of Saint Petersburg, designed by architect Ricardo Bofill.

  • Area: 7 000 square meters comprised of 4 400 square meters of apartments, 500 – of internal public spaces, and 2 100 – of the underground parking

The land plot is situated in the city center of Krasnodar. There is the city park right opposite, therefore all apartments are complete with a view of the city landmark. The top floor apartments all have spacious terraces.

A residential block with a child center and a three-level underground parking.

  • Area: 42 300 square meters, of which 26 400 are apartments, 3 100 are internal public spaces, and 12 800 are the underground parking

The block is located in the city center of Novorossiysk. The residential block was designed as two 18-storeyed residential buildings with internal public spaces, tied together by a three-level underground parking. The challenge overcome both architecturally and structurally was the 10-meter drop in the landscape. The solutions were developed in the stages of project and working documents.
